Community Volunteer Work that Makes a Difference

Right now, Lions are performing volunteer work to improve communities around the world. We're meeting to plan a local project. We're sponsoring international exchanges for young people. We're bringing clean drinking water to a remote village. We're building. We're sharing. We're repairing. And we're having fun.

We have community clubs that meet in person. Cyber clubs that meet online. And special interest clubs that can be based on your profession, a hobby or anything you care about. Each club matches the needs of its members to help them support their community by doing volunteer work – right now.

  • Sight First - eliminating preventable and reversible blindness worldwide
  • Lions International Foundation - providing funds for humanitarian services
  • Lions Quest - the worlds largest drug abuse and gang prevention curriculum for kids
  • Lions World Services for the Blind - enabling visually impaired to function independently
  • Lions Eye Bank of Texas - providing cornea transplants
  • Leader Dogs for the Blind - providing independence and mobility
  • Lions Youth Projects - Numerous programs devoted to the development of future citizens and world leaders.
  • Local Scholarships - Providing economic assistance for college bound students
